Meet the Team

Dr. Ryan McKnight

Dr. Ryan McKnight was born and raised in Amarillo. He attended Tascosa High School and went on to graduate from West Texas A&M University before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2019.

Dr. McKnight is a member of the High Plains Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association. While he focuses primarily on companion animals, he’s no stranger to the unexpected and has been known to treat lions, kangaroos, and just about any animal that can fit through the clinic doors.

Outside the clinic, Dr. McKnight enjoys playing hockey, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Aggies, and spending quality time with his family. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Emilee, and together they have three children: Annaliese, Benjamin, and Audrey.

Dr. Preston Conlin

Dr. Preston Conlin is originally from Knickerbocker, Texas, and graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine as part of the Class of 2026.

He developed a passion for veterinary medicine through his interest in helping animals and the people who care for them, and he especially enjoys the problem-solving and hands-on aspects of the profession. His primary professional interests include veterinary surgery and advancing practical patient care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Conlin enjoys woodworking and 3D printing, combining creativity and technical skill in projects ranging from custom builds to functional designs. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Amarillo community and is committed to providing kind, quality care.

Dr. Kaitlyn Crowl

Dr. Kaitlyn Crowl is from Gruver, Texas, where she grew up on her family’s farm and ranch. A Red Raider through and through, she attended Texas Tech University for her undergraduate education before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

Dr. Crowl is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care and enjoys building lasting relationships with both clients and their pets. Her professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and feline medicine as a Certified Feline Friendly Veterinarian. She is also an active member of the High Plains Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Crowl enjoys spending time with family and friends, tackling home projects, and taking advantage of any opportunity to be outdoors. She loves sharing life with her husband, Jonathan, and their two dogs and cat. Dr. Crowl is proud to serve the pets and people of the Amarillo community.

Dr. Sandra Masten

Dr. Masten was born in Canyon and raised on a farm, where her love for animals took root at an early age. As a young child, she spent her days playing with calves and knew even then that she wanted to become a veterinarian.

She graduated from Canyon High School and attended West Texas State University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1990. Dr. Masten has a special interest in surgery and is an active member of the High Plains Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and American Veterinary Medical Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Masten enjoys relaxing at the pool, traveling with her friends and family, watching scary movies, and spending time with her dog, Molly.

Dr. Jeremy Sell

Dr. Jeremy Sell was born and raised in Amarillo. He attended Tascosa High School before earning his degrees in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Texas. He then graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2018.

Dr. Sell is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, Association of Avian Veterinarians, and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. While he has a special interest in exotics and orthopedic care, he enjoys treating all animals, with a particular fondness for goats.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sell enjoys blacksmithing, woodworking, reading, and watching sports. He is married to his wife, Kayla, and they have two children: JJ and Jo.

Dr. Janice Wolf

Dr. Wolf was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. She attended Stephen F. Austin High School and went on to study at Texas A&M University, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1972. Immediately following graduation, Dr. Wolf moved to Amarillo and opened Canyon Road Animal Hospital, where she has devoted her career to caring for animals and growing the practice into the well-respected clinic it is today.

Dr. Wolf’s journey to veterinary medicine began at the young age of 12 when her father took her to shadow a local veterinarian. From the moment she stepped into the clinic, she fell in love with veterinary medicine and knew it was what she was meant to do. Dr. Wolf has a special interest in wildlife and exotic species, but enjoys treating animals of all kinds.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Wolf enjoys reading, caring for her chickens and ponies, and spending time on her farm.
